Red against blue
Would your organisation like to improve its management of information influence? The Red against Blue workshop tests your strengths and uncovers weaknesses. Participants are divided into two teams: The red team uses influence tactics, while the blue team tries to respond to and counteract them.
Goals of the workshop
Through the workshop, participants can:
- Provide examples of how influence tactics can be used in malign information influence.
- Choose appropriate countermeasures to address malign information influence.
The material can be customised to your needs. This may include, for example, the purpose of the workshop, the time you have available or participants’ prior knowledge.
Prior knowledge and supporting documents
Participants should be familiar with vulnerabilities, influence tactics and countermeasures. While conducting the exercise, it is useful if each team has at least one copy of the handbook available. It is also useful to be familiar with your own procedures, for example for crisis communication or crisis management.
